Mr Eaves XL San
Creating a poster that uses different weights and sizes of the typeface Mr Eaves XL San
Introduction
With a selected font, I was asked to create a poster that shows and gives examples of the typeface, while using typographic hierarchy in a poster format. The poster's purpose is to sell this typeface to other designers.
Explanation
Through this poster, I felt like I was able to create hierarchy through the column of numbers 0-9 and negative space through the cream color in the top corner, without making anything feel disconnected. I also was able to make the title of Mr Eaves XL San the focal point, by making it the biggest and brightest. I also like the depth that was created through the different blues and purples shown in the background.
Conclusion
This poster that showcases the typeface Mr Eaves XL Sans is able to effectively use typographical hierarchy, negative space, focal point, and depth within this composition.
